Corrections Policy
When Culture Column gets something wrong, the correction should be visible, proportionate, and easy to understand.
How corrections work
Material factual errors are corrected in the article and recorded in an update note with the date and nature of the change. Minor spelling or formatting fixes may be made without a note when they do not change meaning.
A correction does not quietly erase the original problem. If the central premise is no longer supportable, the page may be withdrawn with an explanation or replaced by a corrected article.
Request a review
Correction requests should include the page URL, the statement in question, and supporting documentation where available. Contact details are configured in site settings before launch.
Commercial pressure alone is not a reason to remove accurate, fairly presented reporting or criticism.
